At one point Joe Panos was a UW-Whitewater football player. In a great example of great risk turning into a great reward, Joe, a Wisconsin native from Brookfield, "walked on" at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and ultimately ended up as one of the captains of the 1994 Rose Bowl team. From there, he went onto the NFL and a seven year career playing for Philadelphia and Buffalo. He retired in 2001 and in 2005 opened a world class training facility, NX Level, in Brookfield.
