Mark Johnson was elected into the Badger Hall of Fame in 1991. As a UW hockey player, an Olympian, a professional hockey player, and currently the UW women's hockey coach, he has a long list of many good things he has done in his years of being involved with hockey.

• Top scorer on the 1980 gold medal-winning U.S. Olympic men’s hockey team
• Member of the Badgers’ Big Ten, WCHA and NCAA championship squad in 1977
• Named Big Ten Athlete of the Year in 1980
• Played for 11 seasons in the National Hockey League and scored 536 points
