L'Cars is a Wisconsin company based in Cameron, WI. If you've never been there, just take Hwy. 53 north from Eau Claire/Chippewa Falls for about 45 minutes. Cameron is the last exit prior to Rice Lake. Cameron is a small town surrounded by lakes, some rivers, and the start of the "northern" set of trees - birches, balsams, and some spruce. The switch from the oak and hickory set of "southern" trees seems to happen right in their area. If you are into that kind of botany, it is neat to watch the change take place as you drive north.

Clearly, Cameron works well for L'Cars. Bob Lorkowski, the owner, has been there for 28 years, turning out some unbelievable high end car restoration projects. L'Cars work on behalf of their clients has been seen, and sold, around the world. Winning the Pebble Beach Invitational out on Monterrey, Ca. multiple times are some of his biggest successes so far. After one of our visits this winter, he left for Lake Como, Italy for an invitational car show over there. All this from Cameron, WI.

L'Cars is making the gas and oil tanks for the Bucky Bike. We've been up there twice now checking in on how the pieces look. So far they are awesome! The process they are using to make the gas tank is really interesting as well. No CAD or machine aid, it is by eye and art, much like the rest of his restoration projects.
